George Azzi and Assaad Osta met at Esmod Beirut in 2004. They formed a close bond and a united artistic vision founded on their shared interest of history, surrealism and, the science of fabrics.

Their star rose quickly, and upon graduating top of their class, the duo’s work caught the eye of Elie Saab who offered them an internship within his design studio. At the end of their internship, they were immediately hired as assistant designers working directly alongside the designer.
It was just a few years later, in 2010, that the ambitious designers launched their eponymous Haute Couture atelier. Today, AZZI & OSTA encompasses Haute Couture, Bridal and Ready-to-wear and has garnered repute as a notable luxury brand adored by confident, sophisticated women the world over.

Many exceptional women have chosen to wear AZZI & OSTA including, her Majesty Queen Rania Al-Abdullah, Beyoncé, Cardi B, Heidi Klum, Zhou Dongyu, Aishwarya Rai Bachan, Jasmine Tooks, Eva Longoria Baston, Nadine Labaki and, Kendall Jenner.

George and Assaad’s destinies were inevitable with both designers exploring parallel paths since childhood. George found inspiration from his grandmother who was a tailor; he began experimenting, repurposing and creating outfits from the remnants of fabric that she had used while Assaad spent hours watching his mother as she stitched her own clothes with meticulous attention to detail.

These formative years have influenced how George and Assaad approach their work. From the beginning, they have consciously embedded a culture of respect, of people and the planet, and these values form the bedrock of their business today. With their elevated eye for beauty and an unconventional approach uniting in perfect harmony, George and Assaad have created a unique and instantly recognizable signature style that is unmistakably, AZZI & OSTA.
